Somni's Natural Sleep Aid

Anyone that knows me, knows that I struggle with bouts of it quite frequently. I have some medical conditions that require medications that have a bad interaction with traditional over the counter sleep aid drugs. I was very excited at the opportunity to try Somni's Natural Sleep Aid for #FREE in exchange for my honest opinion.

There are 60 capsules per bottle. Suggested use is 1-2 capsules per night. Each capsule contains the following drug free ingredients: 125 mg of Gamma Aminobutyric Acid, 125 mg of L-Tryptophan, 10 mg B6, 2 mg of melatonin.

I tried these on a night when I was really struggling to sleep. I noticed that the first effect was just being really relaxed. I believe my high anxiety is the root of my sleep issues, so, it was nice to feel myself letting go and relaxing a bit. I fell asleep within 30-45 minutes of taking these. 

I did not feel drugged at all. I just felt relaxed and ready to sleep. 

I did still wake up 4-5 hours later, but, that is pretty good for me! When I have my bouts of insomnia, any chunk over 3 hours can be quite a lifesaver. 

I also love that it has B6 in it. I am supposed to take that daily , so, when I need some assistance sleeping, I am not adding to how many pills I need to take that day, I just take my sleep aid and the B6 is included.

With these capsules, I do not feel groggy in the morning or throughout the day. I wake up refreshed and ready to start my day, 

I will certainly continue to use Somni's Natural Sleep Aid for my occasional bouts of sleep trouble.

 My LINKON 300 mAh Power Bank is a great gadget for any parent or child to keep handy. It is used to charge your phone when you are away from an outlet. I can't tell you how many times I have been at the park with the kids or the grocery store, etc. and my phone dies at a crucial time. 

  This power bank is a great way to prevent those issues. It also ensures your teenager can't use the excuse that their phone died so they didn't get your call, haha! 

  It is very easy to use and the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. The power bank also comes with a nice bag to carry it in, a USB charging cable with micro USB tip, iphone 4 tip, and an iphone 5 tip. 

 It also has a nice feature where you can see how much time you have left on your charger, or, how much time you have left to charge the power bank when it needs to be re-charged.

 It is a great gadget and I will never leave home without it again!

I know I said on my FB page I was going to post my mail for the week, but, I ended up going on an unexpected trip to Fargo, ND. That is where my husband Ben works. He stays out there all week and comes home on the weekends. Well, he had not been home in 2 weeks because he had a business trip to Las Vegas. Then when he was supposed to come home, they needed him to work, so, we all just went to his place in Fargo for the weekend where he does not have internet.
   So, I apologize if you were looking for that post. I will try do do some mail calls this week so you can see some of my recent prizes and products I get to test.

 I was given Bloody Mary Mix by SalsaCrazy for FREE in exchange for my honest opinion. I do love Bloody Mary's and I like mine very spicy. I don't like the kind of heat that just burns your mouth but has no good flavor. I need the perfect blend of heat and flavor to have the perfect bloody. I have spent hours making my own mixes and trying to create my idea of perfect. I have also tried many bloody's from different dining establishments and pubs. I happen to be quite tough to please in this department, so, I was excited to be selected to try out SalsaCrazy's version and see if it would meet up to their claims.

I love the label! I always find myself attracted to the flashy bottles that boast of heat.

When I received my bottle, the first thing I noticed was the label. It is very flashy and boasts of the habanero heat that it packs. The second thing I noticed was that it was a nice thick and robust mix. I could see bits of the peppers in it. It reminded me of homemade bloody mix, which I love. You will want to make sure to shake it well before use.
The bottle is 25 oz which made us 3 decent sized Bloody Mary's. That is plenty for us, because, when we have a Bloody, it is usually just one or two at the most. Bloody Mary's are not something most people tend to drink very many of in one sitting. It is about $15 for the bottle. This may sound a bit pricey, but, after tasting it, I decided that is most certainly something I would be willing to purchase here and there. If I am wanting a Bloody Mary, I want it to be done right and I don't mind paying a little more for quality.
Before I mixed a drink I smelled and tasted the mix by itself. The first think you notice is a thick and robust mix with incredible flavor. It was seasoned to perfection. Usually I end up having to take even a good mix and doctor it up a bit to my liking. I did not need to add ANYTHING to it!(Minus my spicy pickle, of course.) The next thing that hits you is the heat. You feel the habanero and serrano peppers kick right at the end. It is a good amount of heat, so, if you are sensitive to heat, I would not suggest this. But, if you do like heat, this is wonderful. It gets almost hot enough to bring tears, but, not quite. Which for me is perfect. I don't want to be choking and gagging and crying. That is just not my idea of a great culinary experience.
This would pair nicely with a large brunch, burgers, wings, or even just some beer bread. If you are looking to impress guests who boast of their love of heat, this is a great gift to give or drink to serve if you are hosting.
In conclusion, SalsaCrazy wanted my honest opinion, and I am not going to lie. This was the BEST Bloody Mary mix I have tried to date. I love it and they have a new customer in me. If you love a good spicy bloody, try this out and let me know your thoughts.

Hey everyone! I hope your week has been treating you well, and if not, the weekend is almost here! This week was very long at my house. Strep and some other bug hit. I am so glad spring is coming so we can be done with all of the winter ish.
  But, it was very fruitful as far as my sweepstakes and reviewing hobbies go. I got a lot of prizes this week and so many products to test for reviews. I am going to be one busy girl!!
  I am waiting until mail comes tomorrow and I will be posting what I got in the mail this week.

Such a Newb!

I am trying to figure out this blogging thing, thanks for bearing with me. I know how to talk, I know how to write, but trying to figure out how to design my blog is something I am working on. It has been a busy week in this household. We had a case of strep, oddly, just one. Thankfully. But, I am kind of surprised no one else got it. But, poor Aiden missed another 4 days of school. He has severe Asthma, so, when he gets sick it always hits him hard and fast and moves to the lungs  and it can be pretty scary at times. But, he is feeling better now, so we can ALL breath a little easier.
 
My daughter's Great Grandmother on her Dad's side passed away as well. She was 90, but, it does not make that any easier. She was a wonderful woman. But, at least she is pain free and with her husband now.
We also had some pretty cool stuff happen. I do sweepstakes. It used to be a part time hobby, but, now it's pretty serious. I devote a good amount of time to this and have now gotten into product testing and reviews as well. It is so much fun, but, it is a full time job.
   I know a lot of my friends are curious about what I do, and, my blog will be full of great information about what I do and how I got started.
       We made an office for me last week. I was so excited to have some private space to work. That has kind of blown up in my face!

I still have a lot of work to do in the office so it is fully functional and they are already infiltrating! 

We did have a good week for Sweepstakes. Some of our prizes arrived!

  I also got my prize from Deep Steep . I won Sugar Cane Foot Scrub and Foot Cream! They are Candy-Mint scented. They smell amazing. I haven't had time to test them out yet. Hopefully I can this weekend. My feet could use some TLC.

We also got a ton of test products. I have to figure out a solution to all of the boxes in my house! Fed Ex and UPS are at my house almost daily anymore. 

   We also got notified that we won a really nice pair of headphones, a craft project from Crafts Direct, and a new pair of Vans! 

    So, all in all it was an amazing week as far as Sweeps and product reviews went. And with Aiden feeling better, I couldn't ask for anything more. Now to figure out how to get blue nail polish out of my new chair!

      I took the chance to advocate allergy free foods during my party. My son has many food allergies, as many kids seem to have these days. I contacted #NamasteFoods to see if they would be willing to work with me to help educate people on the importance of serving allergy friendly foods at  their events. They were very excited to have the chance to work with me. They were so kind and generous.

They sent a variety of their products for FREE, information, and lots of coupons for everyone!

We love their products, they are seriously delicious. They sent 3 spice cakes, which our whole family loves, to share with our guests. They also sent chocolate cake, spicy chicken seasoned crumbs, Say Cheese mac and cheese(one of my favorites) , and a cup of chicken noodle soup.

          We"attempted" To make the Duff's Tie-Dye cake that came with our party kit. My oven always cooks a bit faster than the directions, so, it cooked just a tad too long. Sadly, that lead to it not wanting to come out of the pan. So, the kids just ate the cake straight from the pan! 

                  The Palace Pets Disney sent were a huge hit with all of the guests. They are just adorable.
