I did the 3 day challenge I saw on Dr. Oz. I took my capsules daily as directed. I did not notice any kind of jittery high feeling after taking it like I have with other pills in the past.I felt totally normal, but, I did notice I didn't get the urge to snack. If I were hungry, it wasn't as hungry as usual. You don't lose complete appetite, unlike some pills. That is nice. I want to lose weight, not starve myself.
So, I just did my thing, ate when I felt hungry, stopped when I was satisfied.
After the 3 days I stepped on the scale and I was down 2 lbs. That may not sound like much, but, I have P.C.O.S. which makes weight loss very hard, so, that was a huge deal.
In my opinion, if you are going to choose a weight loss supplement, This is a great natural option that will not starve you or make you feel cracked out.It's worth a go!

I was lucky enough to get the chance to try Maxasorb D3 Lotion to review for you all. I have low vitamin D a lot -like many people that live up north, and I am supposed to take a daily Vitamin D3 supplement . It's important for children as well. We don't get enough sunlight during the winter months, so, D3 is great for anyone to consider during those months.
A Vitamin D3 Deficiency can be very serious. It is linked to many serious diseases and health issues such as cancer, asthma, heart disease,cognitive impairment. It can also help prevent and treat MS,glucose intolerance, type 2 diabetes and hypertension.
This is simple to use. Adults and children over 12 years old take 1-2 pumps daily and rub it in your skin. Children 12 years and under take just one pump. There are 60 doses per tube.It's nice to be able to moisturize while taking my vitamins. I'm killing 2 birds with one stone. The kids love to use it, which is nice. I was offered the chance to try out AVO Essentials Lavender 100% Pure&Natural Essential Oil for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I have always loved Lavender. It is one of the most relaxing and stress relieving scents for me. I was excited for the chance to try it out.
This is 100% Pure oil that you can use for many things. I like to add it to my 100% Pure fractionated Coconut oil for a relaxing massage oil. You can use it to make soaps, candles, bubble bath, lotions, etc.
Lavender Oil has so many uses it's insane. I did some research when I got the bottle and was impressed by all of the many uses I had never heard of. I knew some, like relaxation, Insomnia, stress relief, but, it has many more uses including: Antidepressant, Anticonvulsant, Antifungal, Antihistimine, Antiinflamitory, Antiseptic and more! Pretty crazy, huh?

Dandruff: Add to your scalp to reduce the dandruff.
There are so many other uses that I can't even list them all right now. I am very happy with my oil. I use it daily for many different things. I love home remedies and being able to save money and be healthier by making my own home care products. This oil smells amazing and comes in a large 4 oz bottle. That is a lot of oil and will last quite a while.
If you already use oils or are just starting, this is a great oil for a great value.

Knife Sharpener from Priority Chef Reviews
I was given my Knife Sharpener from Priority Reviews to review in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I was excited to try it out, but, not nearly as excited as Ben! He loves playing with things like that. He usually tries out the new gadgets for the kitchen before I can. This is a very solid knife sharpener, it takes up very little space on m kitchen counter. We keep it right next to the knife block. It is relatively stylish too.
We have noticed a lot of our knives getting dull. Even after sharpening, they just were seeming to be at the end of their days. We had started discussing purchasing a new knife block when I was offered this sharpener. I figured it wouldn't hurt to at least give it a try.
When it arrived, I barely opened the package and Ben was trying it out.
This knife sharpener works very well. Ben has been bragging to everyone about it. Even our dullest knives were sharp again after use. You do need to make sure children do not use this. The handle is sturdy to prevent slipping while sharpening.
I am very impressed. We have used a few different sharpeners and they do not even compare. I am glad I have been able to save money by getting the sharpener rather than a new set just quite yet. These are great in my opinion.

Organic Dandelion Root Tea
When I think of Dandelions, I think of childhood. My years of playing "Mama head a baby and it's head popped off" or thinking a bouquet of dandelions was the most beautiful thing and bringing them to my less than enthusiastic mother. She had us dig them up by the root to get them out of our yard. I always thought it was a waste.
If I only knew the benefits of Dandelion then, I would have known just how right I was.
Some benefits of Dandelion are: Immune system booster, Diabetes, Inflammation, Kidney health, Liver health, Protects against cancer, High blood pressure,Digestive aid and more!
I lived in an area for a while where the land was untreated so I did not have to worry about pesticides. I was able to make my own tea. I was amazed and how well I felt drinking it. It has a decent flavor, but, is a bit bland. I add stevia to sweeten it and it tastes wonderful.
However, I have since moved and I do not trust that the land here is pure.
I was offered a 5 pack of Dandelion tea for free in exchange for a review and I was super excited! Not only can I get the great benefits at a decent price, but, I can drink it all year round.
I have some medical conditions that cause me a lot of inflamation that can be quite painful. The Dandelion Root Tea is great at reducing my pain. I honestly just feel better all the way around when I drink about 3 cups a day. This is amazing for good health. I would suggest adding it to your daily routine if you struggle with any of the issues I mentioned above.

Bella Organics Vanilla Mint deodorant creme

I was able to try out Bella Organics Deodorant creme for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I was happy to, as, I actually have a very personal story as to why we should think about the deodorant we wear.
Bella Organics is awesome. It is made with simple ingredients like coconut oil, baking soda, and essential oils. You just take a pea sized amount out on your fingertip and apply to your underarm. It has a nice light minty fragrance that holds up throughout the day.
You may think your deodorant is just fine, but, I urge you to pay attention to ingredients. I had been having pain in my breasts for years with no answers as to why. Severe pain. It felt like an infection. The pain began to spread down my right arm to my elbow.I had pain in my armpits and my right armpit would sweat like crazy. I mean, a lot. To the point I would wear a sweater or jacket in public on hot days so they did not see it drenching my shirt. Not to mention my underarm odor. It was so embarrassing. For a while, I kept trying to figure out what smelled like cat urine. Only to find out it was me! The doctors had no answers. It got worse. I started bleeding from my nipple! I had to go through some very scary and painful tests and they could only find an infected milk duct as the cause. I had to go in and have it removed. This went on for a few more years. The pain, the sweat, the odor. It was only getting worse and my doctors did not seem to understand how much it was affecting my life. I got the news last year that my mom had stage 3 inflamatory breast cancer. Shortly after, my other nipple started to bleed. It was so scary knowing what she was enduring and the thought that I could be doing the same if this is something serious. I seriously had a conversation with my doctor about removing my breasts. I was lucky to find out it was just another infected duct. I had another surgery. But, what was causing my breasts to be infected?
My cousin brought up deodorant to me. It made me feel like a darned fool. How simple could it be? But, what could I do? I can't go around stinking. I tried Tom's of Maine all natural deodorant and right away the pain started going down. Tom's did not really cover my odor and for about 2 weeks after not using traditional deodorant, I smelled horrid. I was sweating out all sorts of toxins. But, I did not put on that deodorant again, I did not care how bad I smelled. I realized that the pain was gone and knew I was on the right track. This is all right before I had the chance to try Bella Organics Vanilla Mint deodorant creme. This creme does help much better than the Tom's as far as odor. I feel weird applying it with my finger, but, it's just a matter of adjustment. I brought all of this up to my doctor and she thinks I have a metal allergy or sensitivity. The more I learn about aluminum and the negative side effects it has on humans the more I can't believe it is allowed in products that we absorb into our bodies. They are now proving this is the cause to a lot of breast cancer cases.

This is great to just spray to freshen up the house if you have company coming or just need to get pet odor out of the air. It is also incredible for pet stains. Without getting too descriptive, my 16 year old dog has accidents frequently that can be pretty gross. I have found that if I clean up and then spray the area before scrubbing, the odor goes away instantly. By the time I get my scrub bucket and go back to clean up, the spray breaks down any matter that may be left for an easy clean up.
I really do love this product. It is wonderful to keep on hand.
This spray does not have any odor, it does not "mask" the smell, it really just takes away odor. I don't know how they do it, but, it is incredible.

I love the look of a healthy golden tan, but, I don't like the thought of sun damage or cancer causing tanning beds. Yuck. I'd take being pale over that any day.

I have only dabbled with lotions, and have had pretty good experiences, but, certainly wish the applications were more even. It is hard to get it even using my hand or wash cloth. I know my 11 and 12 year old boys love books full of adventure. They love the ones where they really get to use their imagination and that has a good amount of comedy in it. There is nothing better in this day and age to look over and see my kids reading and hear their wild laughter when they could rather be glued to video games. But,they CHOOSE to read. But, to be honest, it is hard to find books that keep them so engaged. So, when I was offered a copy of Max's Revenge for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion of the book, I was excited to see if it measured up in the fight for my young children's attention.
The story is very easy for a child that age to identify with. The book is recommended for kids age 9-12 years old.
The tagline for the book is: Revenge can be sweet, but, it can also leave a funny taste.
That says a lot about the moral agenda of the book. It helps kids look at a situation where they might want to take revenge and think about the options they would have that might have better results than taking revenge.

I love finding things that entertain my kids while teaching them as well. I love the book. Thanks to Sally Gould for being able to capture the kind of story a child that age can relate to and will willingly select to read in their spare time.

Parents For Sale by Dr.Nicole Audet Book Review

Parents For Sale by Dr. Nicole Audet is a great book for grade school children. It is a fantasy story about two siblings who have not been taking care of their dog, Pistachio. Their parents are talking about selling the dog. Of course the kids are not happy about that at all. They realize that they could solve this problem with the only logical solution- Sell their parents instead!
Didn't we all want to sell our parents at least once when we were kids? How much fun would this sound to them at first
They make signs and put them out and wait for a buyer, Everything was going well, they even found a buyer!
A Fairy Orphan! But, oh, looks can be deceiving! She was really a witch who wants to turn her parents into stew! What have they done to their parents? Now they have to find a way to get their parents back.
It's a great story that helps kids work through situations where they might get angry in a healthy manner. They learn that even if you get mad at someone, you would not want them gone forever. They use their creativity to work through the mess they have made and solve the problem. Also, that sometimes if we try to take the easy way out, we create a much bigger mess to deal with.
I would love to buy this for my niece! She is not the easiest to deal with when she does not get her way. It would maybe help her think through her actions a little more clearly.
This book is awesome and would be super fun to read as a child! it is sure to be a childhood favorite.

Parents For Sale by Dr. Nicole Audet is a great book for grade school children. It is a fantasy story about two siblings who have not been taking care of their dog, Pistachio. Their parents are talking about selling the dog. Of course the kids are not happy about that at all. They realize that they could solve this problem with the only logical solution- Sell their parents instead!
Didn't we all want to sell our parents at least once when we were kids? How much fun would this sound to them at first
They make signs and put them out and wait for a buyer, Everything was going well, they even found a buyer!
A Fairy Orphan! But, oh, looks can be deceiving! She was really a witch who wants to turn her parents into stew! What have they done to their parents? Now they have to find a way to get their parents back.
It's a great story that helps kids work through situations where they might get angry in a healthy manner. They learn that even if you get mad at someone, you would not want them gone forever. They use their creativity to work through the mess they have made and solve the problem. Also, that sometimes if we try to take the easy way out, we create a much bigger mess to deal with.
I would love to buy this for my niece! She is not the easiest to deal with when she does not get her way. It would maybe help her think through her actions a little more clearly.
This book is awesome and would be super fun to read as a child! it is sure to be a childhood favorite.

Ben wore them at work, but, they can also be used for working out to gain more endurance and recover faster. The look pretty stylish, actually. He said they are comfortable except it was a little tight at his upper bicep area.The biggest thing he mentioned abut wearing them was how cool they kept his arms. He said they really worked to keep him from over heating. He was able to work longer and harder and seemed much happier after working 12 hour days that he did before he started wearing these.
These sleeves are great for your overall health and well being.

The box includes one stainless steel mirror wall hook, one stainless steel wall razor holder(both with adhesives-No need for suction cups), and one Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror. The mirror is great for both home and shower.
There are many benefits to installing this mirror so Ben can shave in the shower. Also, the boys are all starting to shave or not far behind, so, it is going to be vital that they do or my sink will be disgusting. I don't like it when Ben leaves hair in there, let alone all of them.
Shaving in the shower is also good because the steam opens your pores, soften your skin, and that allows for a much closer and cleaner shave.
It was really easy to install and stays really well on my shower wall. There is even a place to rest your razor when you have finished.

You can use it to make soaps, candles, lotions, and ointments.
It is an awesome carrier oil for aromatherapy.
It has powerful antiseptic properties.
And, best of all, it is edible! You can use it to cook with if you want. I love knowing that I am not putting something on my body that I would not put in my body.
I personally loved this oil. It really moisturizes my dry skin . Living in Minnesota, it is important to me to stay moisturized during our dry months. I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. I love using every morning on my face and even on my lips. I add it to shampoo and conditioner for extra moisture and scalp protection as well.

It takes place in 2062 where we have come up with at best a temporary solution to overpopulation and global warming.
This book is full of interesting ideas on theories of where we could end up by such a time. It gets a little intense with the "genderless act"where the frustrated people developed the trystrooms where the privacy act protected their anything goes attitude.
There is corruption, political corruption, on a large scale, like in any political scenario. This is a story of chaos within an organized government.
It is an interesting read for anyone who likes to think about what our future world may hold. It reminds me of dreams I sometimes have. It's totally out of this world, yet not impossible.

We have all heard or read about Abraham Lincoln's assassination . Probably in some boring classroom with those textbooks that have you counting ceiling panels.
With Malice Towards One by Mike Person tells this story in a brand new way that will make it anything but dull. It is done in a comic book fashion that is fun and engaging to read for children. The artwork is really good. It really depicts that time frame.
This is not classroom reading in any way. It is something my 11 and 12 year old boys really enjoyed. They would choose to read this without being told they have to.
I am really big on reading and education, I believe that you can teach kids without forcing them, One way that kids learn most effectively is though visual learning.
The pictures are great sized and full of color. It is a picture book, but, that does not compromise the writing at all. it is still well written and very educational, yet, it is done in such a way that it is engaging like watching a movie.
If you are looking for a good gift for a child, I would seriously recommend this one. I like giving gifts that no one else has thought of and that will leave a lasting memory for the child as well as teach them something they will remember for years to come.
I believe if schools would implement this type of educational material, we may have a higher success rate in our school system.

Argan Oil is full of awesome fatty acids that are good for your skin. It also has vitamin E which is amazing for your skin and hair. It is also amazing for your skin and nails. You just have to massage the oil into your cuticles twice daily.
It is so amazing and versatile that it is often referred to as "Liquid Gold".
I have eczema and very dry skin that is prone to cracking. I use the argan oil on my hands to retain moisture . It goes on like an oil, but, dries smooth and dry .It is great for soothing painful skin conditions. I also added a couple drops to the shampoo and it has made my hair so soft and manageable. I have very thick, so, I love being able to just run my brush through it without having to pull and tug, it just glides through easily.
You can easily add a drop or two to any shampoo, conditioner, or lotion you like to add extra moisture to your hair/skin.
I added a drop to my favorite facial moisturizer and it works incredibly. It is great for fine lines and wrinkles. It restores moisture to those areas and helps restore youthful appearance.
It is also amazing for cracked dry heels. I like to add a dropped full to warm water to soak. I leaves my feet so soft and has helped heal a lot of the cracking.
There are so many uses you can get out of just one bottle for head to toe benefits that I can only give this product a great review.

The oil arrived in great condition. The jar was much larger than I anticipated that was exciting since I love essential oils. The smell of the peppermint oil is very pleasant. There are so many uses for peppermint oil that I was excited to test it out.
Peppermint oil is one of the oldest oils used to treat everything from colds to depression. I know I love to use it for my upset stomachs. All you have to do is put a couple drops in a glass of water and drink. It works like a charm.
Each bottle contains grad A 100% cold pressed peppermint essenstial oil. Essential oil is also good for things like headaches, immune system booster,and even pain relief.
You can make it into a chest rub or inhale it through a vaporizer for respiratory issues. You can also apply directly to the headache area or muscle ache areas to relieve pain.

Leather After Life is a great product to resurrect your lifeless leather. You can use it on everything leather. From purses, shoes, belts, coats, to furniture. I used it on my 1969 leather sofa and was amazed at how well it turned out. It actually looks as if it is a new piece!
The picture above is how my sofa looked prior to trying Leather After Life. It doesn't look awful, but, it does look like an old sofa.Using the product was super easy. I applied a small amount to my cleaning cloth and rubbed it in a circular motion to remove any dirt and polish the leather. I was amazed at how much dirt there actually was on the sofa! It seriously did not look bad to me, but, seeing what came off was a wake up call.

This is the Francois et Mimi 100% Stainless Steel FRENCH Coffee Press . It holds 50 oz of coffee, is dishwasher safe, and has a mirror finish exterior.
It is actually quite elegant looking. I had never, myself, used a french press, so I was excited. People who know me, know I am a coffee enthusiast, so, this was a fun product for me to test. I am excited to bring this with me on my camping trips this summer, so, I had to test it out and get familiar with how to use it.
The box comes with a great and detailed instruction list that covers use of the product and safety. I will never ever forget my mother's story of being burned by scalding hot coffee as a very young child on accident, so, I urge you to follow the instructions and keep your little ones away while you are using this. The coffee gets very hot and stays very hot for a long time.
You do NOT want to use this on your stove top.
You want to put in ONLY coarse ground coffee as finer coffee will clog the system.
You are going to pour hot water into the pot(I will boil my water in a kettle over the open fire while camping.)
Then you add your coarse ground coffee.
Without pushing the plunger you cover the press with the top part and brew it for at least 5 minutes. Then you get a firm grip on the handle, spout facing away from you, and slowly press it until it reaches the bottom. you can do this as many times as desired, but, do not use excessive force or you could be scalded by hot liquid.
This is a great French Press and I can't wait to get many good years of enjoyment out of it. Thank You Francois etMimi for selecting me to test your product!

They are also durable so that I can take them camping and drink from a nice mug rather than from disposable cups. It saves money and is better for the environment.
The double wall stainless steel is amazing. It makes for a very durable mug, as well as keeps my coffee nice and hot as long as I need.
