These are double-wall stainless steel , So, they are very sturdy.I love that you can toss them in the dishwasher without worry that they will chip or break. They are also durable so that I can take them camping and drink from a nice mug rather than from disposable cups. It saves money and is better for the environment.
You can see above the thickness of the stainless steel. These are not flimsy in any way. I love these 16 oz mugs and I will be enjoying many years drinking out of them.
